The Role – Production Operative

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture of clever protective covers
• Carefully following order details as per work instructions
• Safe use of machinery and hand tools for cutting, connecting and bonding materials.
• Production Operatives will inspect products according to quality standards and established specifications
• Reporting to Production Supervisor, you will collaborate with a supportive team to meet production targets in a safe & efficient manner.
• Support the team in meeting production deadlines.

Skills and Experience

Desirable

• GCSE Maths & English
• Previous experience in joinery, manufacturing, engineering or production roles.
• Experience of understanding and interpreting engineering drawings, assembly instructions or manufacturing processes.

Essential

• Excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work for global distribution.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain a clean, tidy and organised environment.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and develop skills with continuous on-the-job training.

Working hours:

FULL-TIME Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am – 5pm, includes 5 hours at 1.5 times the hourly rate. 3pm finish on the last Friday of every month.

Salary:

Starting salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
