We have been manufacturing clever protective covers for over 50 years for a variety of industries including agriculture, aquaculture, oil & gas and many more and are expanding our manufacturing space in Maghera with a new purpose-built workshop.

The Role – Production & Manufacturing Technician
‘Improving Lives through the manufacture of Clever Protective Covers”
- Measuring and assembly of bespoke protective covers.
- Safe use of machinery and equipment for cutting, connecting and welding materials.
- Variation of work sometimes requires heavy lifting and manual product packing
- Working as part of a team on a daily basis
- Maintaining high quality standards and inspecting work to eradicate project deviations
- Meeting project completion deadlines to fulfill customer requirements worldwide
- Desire and willingness to learn transferable skills for cross-functional teamwork
Skills and Experience
Desirable
- Joinery, manufacturing or engineering background
- Experience of understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and assembly instructions/manufacturing processes
Essential
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to maintain a clean, tidy and organised environment
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and develop skills with continuous on-the-job training

Note: If successfully employed, after the probationary period you will automatically be allowed to participate in our ‘Refer a Friend Scheme’. How it works? Once you have referred a candidate and they are successfully employed, you will receive £100. You will receive a further £100 + an extra paid days holiday if they remain employed for more than 6 months.

Working hours:
- FULL-TIME Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am – 5pm, includes 5 hours at 1.5 times the hourly rate. 3pm finish on the last Friday of every month.
- No weekend or shift work.
Salary:
Starting salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
